Catalog description

This course provides a theoretical foundation and practical understanding of management science fundamentals. Emphasis is placed on problem modeling, particularly on the significant role of managers in the model-building process. Students will explore analytical methods such as optimization, stochastic models, and simulation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Topics include identification, formulation, interpretation, and sensitivity analysis of business models. Excel-based applications and case studies will be integrated throughout the course to strengthen analytical skills.
