Business Sustainability

Catalog description

In this course, you will put concepts into practice by advising a local organization on how to implement sustainability practices related to people, planet, and prosperity. This consulting project will give you the opportunity to apply the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) you have developed throughout your educational experience at Seton Hall. You will be randomly assigned to a consulting team that will work with a local nonprofit or business client. Your team will meet with representatives from the organization, gather primary and secondary data, analyze the situation, identify the organization’s specific sustainability challenges or opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations to help your client become more sustainable. Additionally, you will develop important skills such as communication, peer coaching, creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
