Catalog description

This course serves as the capstone experience for students completing the Biology Honors Program, focusing on finalizing their research thesis, developing critical scientific and presentation skills, and preparing for post-graduation career paths. The course includes two components: a seminar series featuring top researchers who share insights into the many career paths available with an undergraduate biology degree, and weekly research development sessions to help students strengthen their scientific writing, data analysis, and presentation skills. By the end of the course, students will have crafted a top-tier research thesis and prepared a research abstract and poster suitable for submission to local and national conferences.
