Simple inheritance patterns, cytogenetics, DNA replication, protein synthesis, regulatory mechanisms, genetic engineering and behavioral genetics. Problems of human genetics as related to genetic counseling and genetic engineering. Laboratory experiments illustrate principles of genetics using various organisms.
