Advanced UX Design Studio

Catalog description

Advanced UX Design Studio is a collaborative and design-intensive conclusion to the Level 2 UX Certificate. Students will work on a semester-long project encompassing the entire UX process that bridges digital and physical environments. Focusing specifically on designing for wearable personal devices and digital kiosks, students will think critically about the future of UX and technology and design innovative solutions to existing, researched problems. The second component of this class is revisiting course projects completed in previous classes to create comprehensive UX case studies. Focusing on professional development and applying for entry-level positions, students will develop a dedicated portfolio of UX work completed throughout the certificate.
