Catalog description

A pre-cursor to Practicum Senior Seminar, this course challenges students to produce strategic design solutions. Grounded in research and the creative process, assignments will tackle issues of personal importance. In writing a creative brief, the industry-standard method of communication, students will distill their concept down to its single most compelling thought. The overall visual exploration will be a catalyst for students to identify their strengths as designers. After the successful completion of this course, the students will verbally and visually answer: who am I as a designer? (Formerly ADIM 2502)
