Catalog description

Building on foundational nursing knowledge and leveled competencies, this second-semester course integrates advanced theoretical concepts with hands-on clinical practice. Students will deepen their understanding of complex patient care through a focus on pathophysiology, pharmacology, and evidence-based practice. Clinical placements emphasize the application of nursing interventions in diverse settings, promoting critical thinking and effective communication skills. Emphasis is placed on holistic patient assessment, care planning, and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to manage more complex patient scenarios and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
