Internship in Public Health

Catalog description

(Prerequisites: Senior Public Health majors, PUBH 210 , PUBH 310 , PUBH 320 , PUBH 330 and PUBH 340 , cumulative GPA of 2.50 in major.) The 120-hour supervised internship is designed to provide an opportunity for students to use the concepts, techniques and theories learned in the classroom in professional public health settings. Students are assigned tasks that enable them to develop competencies and increase their skills as entry-level public health professionals. Immunizations and clearances required.
