(Prerequisites: 2 nd Year Standing) This course overviews public health strategies which address the socio-economic, behavioral, biological, environmental, and other factors that impact human health and health disparities/inequities (social justice). Areas highlighted are cultural humility/competency, equity in prevention strategies and interventions to address the needs of various groups.
