An introduction to philosophy focused on contemporary and historical philosophical discussions of the reasons for and against holding a theistic worldview. Typical topics include arguments for the existence of God, the problem of evil, science and religion, and miracles. Students cannot earn credit for both PHIL 121X and PHIL 120 .
