(Prerequisite or corequisite: PSYC 210 or EDUC 120 or MATH 112 ) Introduction to the principles and process of nursing research and its application to professional practice. Study of research design, data collection techniques, interpretation, and critique of research to become a discriminating consumer of research is central to the course. Application of research to clinical practice is emphasized. Three hours lecture.
