Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth understanding of nervous system formation. Topics addressed may include neural differentiation and patterning, migration and growth, cellular signaling, synapse formation, and behavior. Experiments using molecular, cellular, and physiological approaches to understand the mechanisms driving neural development will also be discussed. (Credits cannot be earned for BIOL 357 and NEURO 357.)
