A survey of concepts and disciplines within the nutritional sciences. Lectures and discussion address basic sciences, biological factors, and current controversies including physiological systems directly and indirectly influencing nutrition and metabolism, nutrients and their metabolism, energy balance, food technology, and agribusiness.
