A survey of the art and architecture of early Christianity through the Reformation, 4 th - 17 th centuries. Art of early Christianity, the Byzantine Empire, Romanesque and Gothic Europe, the Renaissance and Counter Reformation Europe will be studied in historical contexts of idea, style and technique.
