Includes a survey of pedagogical materials, repertoire, and schools of instrumental performance and instruction in the student’s major instrument. Presented in lecture and laboratory format by applied music instructors. Prerequisites: consent of the instructor, MUS 2000, and the following courses with a grade of C or higher: MUS 2252, MUS 2253, and either MUS 2134 or MUSA 2V30.
