Fundamentals of landscape construction, including soil preparation, paving and construction materials, hand and power tool use, turf and plant installation, plan reading, estimating, and bid preparation; also covers local codes, state requirements, and new technologies. Prepares students to pass the C-27 Landscaping Contractor's License exam. Sustainable landscape practices will be emphasized throughout the course. Total of 36 hours and 54 hours lecture.
