Catalog description
This course is to prepare students for college-level liberal arts math, technical math, or general statistics courses through content that is relevant for non-STEM majors. Topics in this course incorporate real-life applications while teaching prealgebra, numerical, algebraic, geometric, and measurement concepts; along with an introduction to probability and statistics. Prerequisite: An appropriate placement score. Semester Hour(s): 4 hour(s) Lecture / Lab Hours: 3 lec/2 lab/week
