This course offers educators an in-depth exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative impact on teaching and learning. Students will gain a solid foundation in AI concepts and terminologies while exploring a variety of AI tools that can enhance classroom management, assessment, personalized learning, and curriculum design. Through hands-on activities, case studies, and ethical debates, students will critically evaluate the benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations of integrating AI into educational practices. Participants will learn to develop and apply AI-driven strategies to create innovative and effective lesson plans, assignments, and student-centered policies. The course culminates in a capstone project where students will showcase their ability to synthesize AI tools, curriculum design, and ethical principles to enhance student success and equity in the classroom.
