Catalog description
The Public Safety Dispatcher Course introduces the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a public or private communications dispatch center and as a complaint desk operator. Students learn correct procedures for public safety telephone and radio operation, interagency coordination and communication, and stress management. This course prepares each student for the basic roles, responsibilities, and duties of a safety dispatcher within the law enforcement agency.
