Survey of Art From Prehistory

Catalog description
This course introduces students to visual art and architecture from prehistory to the medieval era with a focus on art from Europe, North Africa, and the near East. The course will further consider global interactions involving these regions. Part 2: Required for art majors. Students are required to independently visit an art museum. Field trips may also be required. Former Title: ART 101, Survey of Western Art History I: Prehistory Through the Middle Ages (Fall 2026)
