Catalog description

This comprehensive class will cover civil procedure before, during and after trial, civil discovery, attorney fee awards, damages, and appellate practice. Additional topics to be covered will include summary judgments, depositions, expert witnesses, discovery motions, service of process, subpoenas, statutory deadlines, and writs of attachment. Upon completion, paralegal students will have the skills to work under an attorney's supervision to support a thriving litigation practice in California.
