Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental elements of American Sign Language within a cultural context. Emphasis is placed on the development of basic expressive and receptive skills. Upon completion, students will be able to comprehend and respond with grammatical accuracy to expressive American Sign Language and demonstrate cultural awareness. (2002 SP) This course has been approved to satisfy the following requirement(s): | Humanities/Fine Arts Gen. Ed. course for A.A., A.A. Teacher Preparation, and A.S.
