Catalog description
Students will survey the history of North American Indigenous populations, and their social, political, economic, and cultural life from Pre-Columbian to present times. Students will examine the diversity of Indigenous cultures, and their interaction with European settlers, and the impact of contact and colonization. Students will also explore the impact of U.S. expansion and policies on Indigenous North American people.
