Catalog description

This course offers a hands-on approach to designing courses and utilizing current Learning Management System (LMS) tools to create content for various online formats. Students will be guided through the California Virtual Campus - Online Education Initiative (CVC-OEI) Course Design Rubric, emphasizing the creation of not just functional but also high-quality, innovative online courses. Course customization focusing on design, interaction, collaboration, assessment, and learner support, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration will be covered. Special attention will be given to implementing Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI), ensuring courses meet federal and accreditation standards for instructor presence and engagement.
