Catalog description

This course will analyze and interpret legal praxis associated with criminal procedures from pre-arrest to appeal. Constitutional guidelines, interpretation of statutory and case law, legal aspects of evidence, due process, and rules governing arrest and search and seizure are examined. The course will consider institutional responsibilities, processes, and procedures of the U.S. justice system within a multicultural society.
