Catalog description

Students examine ethics, personal, and professional growth relevant to alcohol and drug counseling, with an emphasis on ongoing professional growth and development. Topics include ethics and professional standards, credentialing requirements, self-assessment of professional strengths and limitations, burnout prevention and stress management, and professional networking. The course may include participation in professional workshops, trainings, or community-based learning activities to support career development.
