Honors Exploring the World of Music

Catalog description

Students will be introduced to the elements of music from a cross-cultural perspective. Religious, cultural societal, and political influences from various geographical locations will be explored. Honors section will emphasize a more rigorous examination of select world musical traditions. This may include independent research, presentations and/or written reports.
