Catalog description

Students will receive review of the core prerequisite skills, competencies, and concepts needed in MATH 052 , Mathematics for Elementary Education. This support course is intended for students who are concurrently enrolled in MATH 052 . Topics include: a review of computational skills developed in intermediate algebra, factoring, operations on rational and radical expressions, solving equations and inequalities, a review of functions and graphing, and useful geometry concepts and ideas. This course is appropriate for students who are confident in beginning algebra skills, and is recommended for those who are advised to receive additional academic and concurrent support. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic counselor.
