Catalog description

Students are introduced to the world's regions and civilizations as interconnected entities from 1500 to the present. Students will examine the fundamental economic, social, political, and ideological elements of human culture in historical context. Students are also introduced to the ideas and accomplishments of significant men and women in each period and region. (C-ID HIST 160)
