Catalog description

This course introduces research fundamentals, methodologies, and processes. Students will learn to clarify the research question and describe common research and sampling designs. Additional topics include the design of data collection methods such as observations, experiments, and surveys, along with an understanding of the relevant ethical considerations inherent to social science research.
