Catalog description

In this course, students will analyze and apply key musical elements, such as rhythm, form, melody, and harmony, while exploring the relationship between lyrics and music. Students will develop their own compositions and demonstrate understanding through original songwriting and performance. Basic knowledge of music fundamentals is helpful but not required.
