This course explores health and healing practices involving theoretical, psychological, sociological, biological, historical, and cultural viewpoints. It delves into concepts and philosophies from traditional cultural healing systems and contemporary Western medicine through an interdisciplinary lens. The focus is on promoting health, preventing disease, and empowering individuals to advocate for their well-being with support from healthcare professionals.
