ATC Phraseology

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the standard phraseology and communication techniques used in Air Traffic Control (ATC). Students will learn proper radio communication procedures, terminology, and phraseology as outlined by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Emphasis will be placed on effective communication between pilots and air traffic controllers in a variety of flight scenarios, including ground operations, departures, en route, and arrivals. The course is designed for students pursuing aviation careers, including pilots and future air traffic controllers, and aims to enhance communication safety and proficiency in airspace management.
