Catalog description

Students examine theories of second language acquisition as well as the relationship between second language acquisition theories and language teaching. Students compare different theoretical perspectives of language, the learner, and the language learning process and explore current research in the field of second language acquisition. Prerequisite: Admission to the Ed.D. program in Literacy.
