Catalog description
Designed for students with a Spanish language and/or cultural background, the course builds on existing Spanish language skills to develop literacy through intensive formal and academic reading and writing which emphasizes the Latinx experience in the U.S. and throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Topics include spelling, verb tenses, registers, and transfers from English. This course is taught predominantly in Spanish. Prerequisite: Permission of Department Chair.
