Catalog description

Students engage in a historical survey of the development of sociological thought. Emphasis is placed upon the growth of Sociology as a discipline, major areas of interest and major contributors. This course equips students with essential skills that directly translate into many industries (e.g., interpersonal communication, navigating complex social relationships, perspective-taking, etc.) Prerequisite: SOCI 1301 or SOCI 2319 .
