Catalog description

Students examines the characteristics of social movements useful to the sociological study and interpretations of major social trends involving both social and cultural change in community and society. The theoretical frameworks for understanding the causes, types, and theories of social change in contemporary society are given special attention. This course equips students with essential skills that directly translate into many industries (e.g., interpersonal communication, navigating complex social relationships, etc.). Prerequisite: SOCI 1301 or SOCI 2319 .
