Catalog description

Students examine the principles and practices of qualitative research. Topics may include qualitative techniques of design, data collection and organization, analyses, and interpretation. Students gain experience conducting and assessing qualitative research on social issues. This course equips students with essential skills that directly translate into many industries (e.g., data collection, data analyses, etc.). Prerequisite: SOCI 1301 or SOCI 2319 ; and SOCI 2399 .
