Catalog description

Students in this course will examine the complex and evolving relationship between environmental challenges and security. They will learn key conceptual frameworks such as national security, human security, and ecological security. Students will synthesize security aspects of major environmental threats. Students will also explore the role of institutions and governance in environmental security among other salient environmental security topics.
