Catalog description
Students learn social network analysis (SNA) for homeland security uses. Networks across the homeland security enterprise, including networks of critical infrastructure and emergency response as well as dark networks of terrorists and criminals, may be considered. Students use SNA to determine the structure and vulnerabilities of networks. Topics covered may include centrality, network topography, subgroup analysis, ego network analysis. No prior math or statistics background is required for this course.
