Students apply the processes and pedagogy of critical literacy theories as appropriate for children in grades 4-8. Attention is given to advanced literacy instruction in English language arts and reading through genre-based strategy instruction. Prerequisite: Admission to Educator Preparation Program, READ 3388 and READ 3389 .
