Catalog description

In this course, candidates learn the fundamental concepts and principles of language arts instruction and assessment in grades 4-8 are emphasized. The focus of this course is on the developmental levels and interrelated language processes of reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing, and thinking. Twenty hours of field experience in a 4-8 language arts classroom are included in this course. Co-requisite: READ 3388 . Prerequisite: READ 3373 and 3374 .
