Teaching of Psychology.

Catalog description

Students review pedagogical approaches and strategies as they apply to teaching psychology in higher education. Topics may include teaching philosophies, textbook selection, syllabus development, best practices in undergraduate psychology education, organization and use of class time, active learning methods, use of instructional technologies, exam construction, and grading models. Prerequisite: Departmental approval.
