Catalog description

Students examine the roles and influences of cultural and individual differences in mental health. Although the field of multicultural psychology covers a vast array of topics, students in this course focus specifically on the appropriate and sensitive delivery of clinical services to the disparate populations within the US. Appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and intervention approaches to psychological work with various clinical populations will be discussed. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing.
