Catalog description

Students examine the interplay between states and markets and the interaction of the world economy and international politics. Students study the nature of political economy, the major ideologies and approaches, and specific topics that may include the political ramifications of international trade, investment, debt and financial markets and the impact of globalization on the human condition and the environment. Prerequisite: 6 hours of POLS.
