Students examine the role of international organizations and law. Topics may include the evolution of the United Nations (UN) and its precursors, UN structure and governance, the UN's role in international peace and security, emerging human rights law, laws governing war, and issues related to economic development and the global environment. Prerequisite: 6 hours of POLS.
