Students examine the politics and policies of victims' rights, exploring the emergence of victims' rights as a political issue and as a social movement. Students study victims' rights policies and programs at the local, state, national, and international level and analyze their development, their implementation, and their impact. Prerequisite: 6 hours of POLS.
