Catalog description

Students explore the physiological processes that maintain homeostasis and examine how imbalances in these systems contribute to the development of disease. Through a body system-based approach, students will discuss how disruptions in normal function lead to specific pathophysiological changes. By examining these changes, students will gain a foundational understanding of how common health conditions develop and evolve. Prerequisite: PHAS 5321 and PHAS 5322 .
