Catalog description

This course examines the indications, contraindications, detailed procedures, and possible complications related to various hands-on skills commonly performed by physician assistants in clinical practice. Emphasizing patient safety and procedural competency, the course offers supervised opportunities to develop proficiency in entry-level procedures such as wound care, suturing, injections, venipuncture, catheterization, and other core skills. Prerequisite: Admission into the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program.
