Catalog description

Students examine the structure and function of the U.S. healthcare delivery system with a focus on economic and policy challenges that influence clinical practice. Emphasis will be placed on the issues that directly impact practicing physician assistants. Students conduct a thorough review of managed care, reimbursement, and other relevant topics. Prerequisite: Admission into the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program.
